Facial Rejuvenation
We offer 3 levels of services for Facial Rejuvenation. Each session starts with a relaxation Acupuncture treatment in a spa setting to relax the body, maximizing the effectiveness of the treatment. These facial rejuvenation techniques are also all applicable to reduce and remove acne scarring or other forms of scarring.
Level One: Basic, 1-Hour Long Session
This treatment includes strategically placed facial acupuncture using silicon-coated high quality super thin needles that slide easily into the skin of this delicate area. The facial needles rest in the skin while the NASA-developed anti-aging technology, Celluma Light Therapy, provides energy to the cells increasing cellular metabolism which results in a variety of metabolic processes. These processes include increased blood flow/circulation, a decrease in inflammation, a decrease in pain and an increase in the cells that promote healing and tissue repair and regeneration. The experience finishes with relaxing facial cupping, which is excellent at smoothing wrinkles, reducing facial puffiness, and providing relaxing stimulation of collagen and elasticity to the face. Facial cupping is particularly effective for the delicate skin around the eyes.
Level Two: Advanced, 90-Minutes Long Session
This treatment includes everything in the Basic 1-Hour Session and adds in your choice of one of the following two options. You can choose either:
- 30 minutes of gem-stone Gua Sha, micro-needling roller, and cooling gem-stone facial rolling. Gua Sha and facial rolling are particularly effective at treating sagging skin or puffiness under the eyes or in the face. It works with the lymph system to help drain excess fluid that collects under the skin, and releases tight neck muscles which are a contributor to sagging as they pull down the skin of the face. Facial micro-needling is particularly good at reducing acne scars or other scars, and facial redness due to eczema or psoriasis.
- 30 minutes of the FSM (Frequency-Specific Microcurrent) program specifically designed for anti-aging. This program is connected to a hypoallergenic all-natural moisturizing mask which enhances the effectiveness of the FSM program. (More information on FSM below.)
Level Three: Advanced, 120-Minutes Long Session
This treatment includes everything in the Basic 1-Hour Session and adds in your choice of one of the following two options. You can choose either:
- BOTH options provided in the 90-Minutes Long Session (gem-stone Gua Sha, micro-needling roller, cooling gem-stone facial rolling, and the 30-minute FSM program with moisturizing mask.
- 60 minutes of the FSM (Frequency-Specific Microcurrent) program specifically designed for anti-aging. This program is its own extended 60-minute FSM program (not just 2 exposures to the 30-minute FSM). The FSM machine is connected to a hypoallergenic all-natural moisturizing mask which enhances the effectiveness of the FSM program. (More information on FSM below.)

- Facial Needles

- Silicon-coated, high quality, super thin needles are placed where wrinkles, scarring, and imperfections occur, and in key points along meridians of energy which run throughout the body, including through the face.

- Facial needling encourages the skin’s own repairing mechanisms to stimulate cell re-growth. This increases the production of collagen and elastin by creating “micro-trauma” in the skin. This process is like how exercise creates micro-tears in muscle fibers, resulting in the body’s repairing and rebuilding of the muscles worked to come back bigger and stronger.
- FSM (Frequency-Specific Microcurrent)
- FSM is non-invasive and painless. The currents used are so low that you may not even feel them; you may only feel a warmth and softening of the tissues. During treatment, various frequencies are used to stimulate cell growth mimicking the electrical current produced by the human body within each of your cells. Specific frequencies are selected to encourage natural healing of the body.
- One of the ways FSM works is by increasing the production of ATP inside injured tissue. ATP is the major source of energy for all cellular reactions in your body. FSM can increase the amount of ATP that’s created in your damaged cells by as much as 500%.
- Gem-stone Gua Sha and Roller
- Gua Sha performs a firming, lifting effect on the skin, and is a key component to an “Acu-Lift” facelift. It improves overall health and radiance of the skin, plus:

- Gem-stone selection:
- Jade symbolizes prosperity and eternal youth and is a great stone for bringing balance and harmony. It is naturally cooling and attracts tranquility and good luck while expelling negative energy.
- Rose quartz promotes self-love, acceptance, and reflection. It has properties that soothe, purify, and bring a deep inner feeling of healing and peace to the heart and mind.
- Amethyst relieves stress and anxiety by cleansing negative energy. It is a wonderful healing stone for emotional and nervous issues because its energy promotes clarity and relaxation.
- Citrine is a warming gemstone, associated with positivity and optimism. It’s often used to assist in manifesting financial abundance and opportunities. It can help cultivate confidence and personal power.
- Celluma Light Therapy
- Light Emitting Diode (LED) therapy is the application of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. The energy is used to improve cellular performance. Light therapy is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and has a variety of applications across many medical fields. Research has shown that low level light therapy can: increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, and improve skin tone, texture and clarity. Specific wavelengths of light energy, when properly absorbed, up-regulates compromised cells. The light (photons) energy is absorbed by photo-acceptors in the mitochondria and used to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The ATP produced then stimulates various metabolic processes which can result in the repair and regeneration of cell and tissue components.

Facial cupping is used to gently pull the skin away from the deeper layers of fascia. This saturates the tissue with fresh blood and promotes new blood vessel formation. Facial cupping has been shown to increase oxygen-rich blood circulation, strengthen skin and connective tissues, stimulate cells responsible for collagen production, relax muscle tension. Because of this, the practice brightens skin, minimizes the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrindles, tones chin, jawline, and neck, decreases puffiness, regulates oil production, improves nutrient delivery and product absorption.- And, NO, it does not leave bruises like body cupping tends to do.
Facial Micro-Needling Roller

- Micro-needling involves the use of multiple tiny needles (500-1000) that puncture the skin. The result is an increase in the production of collagen, an essential protein that keeps the skin firm with a smooth texture. As you age, the collagen in your skin decreases, leading to fine lines around delicate areas or deep-set wrinkles. Your body responds to these micro-wounds by invoking its healing response and creating new tissues, collagen, and elastin.
- We apply an ice-cold gemstone roller to the face after micro-needling to close the pores and further encourage healing collagen to “fill in” wrinkles and scars.
- Facial Micro-Needling is particularly effective on acne scars and other scars.
- Additional note: Body Micro-Needling Roller is very effective on reducing stretch marks from pregnancy or other causes.
Skin Disorders
We offer all of the services above for skin disorders, including Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis, Vitiligo, and others. We apply different Celluma Light Therapy settings for these conditions than applied for Facial Rejuvenation. Celluma, for example, is an excellent therapy for Acne and includes its own separate program for this purpose. FSM also has its own settings for each of these specific skin disorders. Gua Sha and Rolling with cooling gemstones is applied to tissue not actively reacting with open inflammation. Cupping, Acupuncture needling, and Micro-needling are used when applicable.
